Truth- God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He will do this by the reading of
Scripture, preaching the Word, being ready in season and out of season,
reproving, rebuking, exhorting, with complete patience and teaching sound
doctrine (1 Tim 3:13; 2 Tim 4:2; Titus 2:1). By doing these things the Senior
Pastor is exercising oversight (1 Pet 5:2), equipping the saints (Eph 4:11-12), and protecting the flock (Acts 20:28-30). Through the Senior Pastor’s leading,
vision, and preaching he is to show the infinite value of Jesus Christ and
labor to lead people in the joyful existence of God-centered living for the glory
of God both locally and globally.
